DigitalExpo

Interactive applications for the interaction of a museum visitor with a digital table and a mixed reality book.

Interactive digital table:
– Division of the digital table into 4 (independent) interaction areas
– Ability to interact with the digital table, using specific tactile objects (for example a cylinder) and touch controllers (for example fingers)
– Ability to move the object and recognition of rotational movement.
– Presentation of multimedia material in relation to the point
– Integration of content for the cases: 1) River diversion (Acheloos case), 2) River diversion / Dam-channel (Tiryns case), 3) Lake drainage (Stymphalia case), 4) Lake drainage (Lerni case)
– Implementation of a series of interactions either through tactile objects or as simple buttons (depending on the scenario).

Mixed reality book:
– User interaction via the Microsoft Hololens 2 device
– Interaction with the virtual mixed reality book through the recognition of specific images/patterns on the pages of the book and the display of 3-dimensional representations or 3-dimensional animations attached to the image/pattern detection
– Interact with predefined points in the exhibition space (as identified using a predefined pattern, e.g. barcode) and display 3-dimensional representations or 3-dimensional animations attached to the scan pattern
