Dr. Nikos A. Laskaris is an associate professor at the Department of Informatics, Aristotle University, Greece. He is a member of AIIA lab and Head of the NeuroInformatics Group. He has been studying the decoding of brain activity for more than 20 years. He got engaged in brain computer interface research by way of translational neuroscience. He is a co-author of more than 100 scientific publications. His current research interests include neuroengineering, brain connectomics and the applications of machine learning, data mining and nonlinear dynamics in biomedicine and neuroscience.
