The CUTLER Project was showcased as a best practice in the Regional Dissemination Event of PROACTsme in Thessaloniki!

On Friday, February 21, 2025, ANATOLIKI S.A. held the Regional Dissemination Event for the PROACTsme Project, “Applied Data-Science and AI for proactive SME service” (INTERREG EUROPE), at the Alexander Innovation Zone in Thessaloniki.

PROACTsme aims to improve e-Government capabilities and create smarter public services through digital transformation. The project focuses on personalized, proactive services using big data, AI, and public-private data sharing, emphasizing data use, interoperability, and predictive analytics.

The event began with presentations about the project and the initial Joint Study results.

Anastasios Papazoglou Chalikias presented the CUTLER project as a local, regional and national recognized good practice on policy solutions, based on the Interreg Europe Good practice map, with Evdokia Maggou following a presentation about the Sustainable Urban Development Observatory of Thessaloniki.

The second part of the dissemination event featured PALMOS Analysis’ research on regional SMEs, followed by Naya Tselepi presenting the Catalan ‘HelpEmpresa’ SME support model. Finally, Maria Goulaptsi discussed integrating this model within the Region of Central Macedonia.

The event concluded with a Q&A and discussion on the challenges and opportunities of SME digital transformation and the potential for a regional support mechanism.
