Dr. Ioulietta Lazarou received a Diploma degree from the School of Psychology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), an MSc degree from the School of Medicine “Medical Research and Methodology” in the same university, and an MSc in “Complex Systems and Networks” in the School of Mathematics of the AUTH. She holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the School of Medicine, AUTH. She has been working as a clinical research associate at CERTH-ITI in the management and execution of several research projects (Dem@Care, MAMEM, RADAR-AD, Trials@Home etc). Moreover, she is a member of the Greek Association of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (GAADRD) and the Scientific Committee of the Greek Federation of Alzheimer’s Disease and Panhellenic Bio-bank of Neurological Disorders. Her research interests focus on neuropsychological assessment of people with cognitive and associate disorders, cognitive rehabilitation strategies, brain signal analysis of people with neurodegenerative diseases, assistive technologies, and remote monitoring of people with dementia. She has co-authored over 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
