Fair Data from Collection to Exploitation
RAISE Suite delivers a one-stop infrastructure for FAIR-by-design research across the entire lifecycle, collection, curation, and automatic processing, powered by unified machine-actionable Data Management Plans (ma-DMPs). Evolving from RAISE Science and incorporating the EOSC RAISE distributed processing infrastructure, RAISE Suite replaces “download-to-analyze” with secure compute-to-data pipelines: data providers retain full control of on-premises datasets while only approved algorithms travel to the data. Every interaction is transparently logged with persistent identifiers, ensuring traceability, recognition, and compliance with sensitive-data regulations such as GDPR. The vision is simple: make Open Science best practices effortless so that data, software, and other outputs yield universally reproducible results. RAISE Suite serves researchers and academia, e-libraries and open data repositories, publishers, technology industry, funding agencies, policy makers, the EOSC community, related clusters and initiatives, and civil society. Its effectiveness is being assessed in five data-intensive domains: health (supporting cancer survivors and stroke patients), smart mobility, forestry, ocean monitoring, and food-waste management, facing major data-sharing and sensitivity challenges.
