Archaeologist - Museologist

She is an archaeologist-museologist and since 2020, she works as a research assistant at ITI/CERTH, on the development of Digital Heritage projects. She received her diploma degree in Archaeology and History of Arts and her master degree in Museum Studies, both from National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, in 2007 and 2015 respectively. Her master thesis is on industrial museums and the cultural adaptive reuse of industrial heritage. Since 2007, she conducts archaeological excavations in Attica, Greece. She joined MK-Lab/ITI/CERTH in 2020 and since then she participates as a research assistant in the development of digital cultural heritage projects. Her research interests include digital/ virtual museums, serious games, VR/AR for culture.
